Today my Gucci net GG skirt arrived 🥹 I had to buy this from Japan, as I couldn’t find any in stock here in the UK at all! Unfortunately, it also came in a size M which is generally a little big for me. I desperately searched for the matching top and found one in stock at Flannels on sale (the planets had aligned!).  This skirt has a detachable internal beige slip inside that you can unclip with the poppers and wear the mesh part of the skirt alone (over some high waist bikini bottoms?).  What I am struggling to find out is if this set is part of the Aria collection? I’m perpetually in a state of redecoration; so I’m confined to just one area for photos. I suppose with a girl with sciatica and a dodgy hip, I’m not going to be pulling any elaborate poses for photos anyway!  I am so excited! Today, my brand new Gucci 1947 mini belt bag arrived today. It’s so dainty, but robust! This this first hit my algorithm about a month ago, in a black version. I fell in love immediately and went straight to sourcing where I could find it cheaper than the £1800 Brand Alley were asking.  I found a few on eBay, but the belts on those for sale were a little large for me. I continued to scour and for the perfect 75cm belt on StockX for a little over £440. This one was the brown leather and beige GG Gucci logo style with bamboo bag closure. The belt has two loops and I’m trying to think - is it just for aesthetics or do they have a purpose?! I’ll attach extra photos once I have them!
